Originally known as Lulsgate Bottom Airfield, an RAF base, Bristol International
Airport is located 8 miles south of Bristol City Centre. Currently having a passenger
throughput of around 5 million a year, it is estimated that the Airport could expect
to handle some 12m passengers by 2030, requiring a longer runway and a terminal
